A Global Association

EMMA’s chief goal is to “create a forum for enterprises engaged in the paging business, anywhere in the world, to discuss with their peers the issues that affect them” and in this regard EMMA continuously strives to bring together the major players in the world of paging.

In 2005, at a bi-annual convention in Helsinki, EMMA combined with the UK's Wireless Messaging Association (WMA) to form a dynamic and international association. EMMA and the American Association of Paging Carriers (AAPC) have now forged strong links and work together to create a global environment in which the members of both associations will find it easier to operate and innovate.
