Nice

Dear EMMA Members and Friends,

The 2010 EMMA Conference and Round Table Meeting will be held in Nice on February 10-12 and we are delighted to invite you to attend.

The theme of this event is “Making Paging the First Choice for First-Responders to Population Warning for Safety and Disaster Prevention”.

We have called on personalities from the European public sector, sensitive to the need for instantaneous massive messaging in crisis management, to address the delegates and stimulate creative thinking. The debate will, however, be led by representatives of our industry. The aim of EMMA is to increase the visibility of paging among national and transnational agencies, NGOs, socially responsible corporations, and the Press as the most efficient and cost effective means for proactively informing and guiding citizens at risk.

The venue, Hotel Boscolo Plaza on Avenue de Verdun located near the Promenade des Anglais, is on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and 4 kms only from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.

Think of class, elegance and hospitality in a prime location of Nice, and one magnificent image appears: the luxury hotel Plaza, a Boscolo First Class hotel. The EMMA rates will also apply to stays extended through the weekend – celebrating Valentine’s Day in Nice, that’s an idea!

The program of the Conference will begin with the Operator’s meeting, instituted since our event in Crete, followed by sessions seeking to satisfy the needs of all constituents of the industry. The themes and speakers will, as usual, be European and International.

Side activities will provide the platform for reinforcing bonds among members and friends of our industry, and to spark creativity and new business opportunities.

France is one of the most active paging markets in Europe, thanks to EMMA Member e*Message, which operates the country’s nationwide network . We shall be able to experience directly the latest applications used by e*Message in the field.

We look forward to seeing you, and your colleagues, at the Spring 2010 EMMA Conference and Round Table Meeting in Nice.

Best regards,

Derek and Jacques
